Sony makes its noise-cancelling headphones more accessible to the audiophiles. Sony has launched its new Sony WH-CH700N Noise-Cancelling Wireless Headphones in India. It is priced at Rs. 12990. Sony claims that it has been designed to provide long hours of music playback. The device is said to deliver up to 35 hours of audio playback on a single full charge and an hour of playback after ten minutes of charging.

Sony has provided its Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation (AINC) technology that analyses background sound to adjust the performance in noisy environments. There is also a dedicated NC button to activate noise cancellation. The Artificial Intelligence Noise Cancellation on these headphones, which can be activated by pressing the dedicated button, can analyse background sound and adjust it for best performance on aeroplanes and other noisy environments.

The headphones are equipped with a built-in microphone for voice assistant commands and hands-free calls. The WH-CH700Ns also have integrated Google Assistant which can be activated via the in-built microphone. The Google Assistant support makes it more convenient for users to use the assistant while wearing the headphones. With a built-in microphone for voice assistant commands and hands-free calls, users won’t have to take their phones out of the pocket/bag.

Sony claims 35 hours of battery backup, but the charging time of 7 hours is a bit steep. On the upside, a quick 10-minute charge should give you enough juice to last for around one hour of playtime.

WH-CH700N will be available across all Sony Centers and major electronic stores in India at Rs 12,990.
